Hello from Cherith Brook!
This last year has truly been amazing and full. We sent out our first family that completed the discipleship program - Jeremiah and Erica Haney and their daughter Zylia moved to Springville California. Jeremiah became the youth pastor for two churches, as well as bringing a second child into the world, little Olivia.
Cole Davidson has also completed the discipleship program and is feeling called to stay here at Cherith Brook and help teach and disciple those who live here and all the guests who come and go. He and Sarah had their 3rd child, on December 10th. Eliana Noelle is a bundle of joy and came in weighing 7 pounds 2 ounces.
We've had many guests come from all over the States to spend time with us and get refreshed, receive counseling, and/or direction. I can honestly say I never get tired of watching God work in people's lives.
My book Grace in Plain Sight; The Power of Agape is available at Amazon. The book has been gaining some traction and Christine and I got to spend April traveling all over the West Coast speaking and sharing the message of God's amazing Grace. Jesus said He has come to set the captives free and we got to watch Him do just that over and over.
We finished Mark Aaron and Rebecca's cabin and welcomed their first child little Gracelyn. They just celebrated their one year anniversary and are doing some finishing touches to their cabin. Gracelyn is a joy to have in the family and we are so blessed by her.
We also welcomed a new family into the discipleship program. Ben, Rachel and their 4 boys Hanz, Ivan, Finn, and Axen. They have been a welcome addition. We also have a young man, Jude who has moved up recently. He has been a blessing to us. He has discovered bread making and our taste buds are so very happy! He is hungry for the Word of God and its been exciting to see his spiritual growth so far.
Our daughter Storm is working at the local hospital as a CNA and continues to love on all the patients. She is hungry to learn more about God's Word and dives in with both hands and feet. One of her patients asked Storm to sing Amazing Grace to her, which she did without hesitation!
On top of all of this we launched a Podcast on YouTube and Spotify called Manna Burger Podcast, which is catching steam. To listen to an episode click the Manna Burger logo at the bottom of the page.
God is so good and one thing I have really seen here at Cherith Brook is that God's Word does not return void!
