Praises!

• Discipleship abroad! We have been discipling a lady who doesn't live up at Cherith Brook, but wanted to be a part. She has been reading Mark's book Grace in Plain Sight. We have done many video conferences/phone calls with her to discuss what the Lord is showing her through God's Word. 
• Cole and Sarah's cabin add-on is almost finished! With their growing family an add on was necessary to give them more room in their home. The walls are up, mudding and taping the sheet-rock has begun. Soon they will painting and getting carpet to finish it! We welcomed baby Eliana this December. She is so cute!
• Mark Aaron and Rebecca are busy being parents to Gracelyn, who will be turning one very soon! They have continued to finish out their log cabin that they built and MarkAaron has been working full time at Les Schwab. He has had many ministry opportunities there. They have also been coming to Twisp to be a part of the church there as well. 
• Jeremiah and Erica although they have left the mountain are doing amazing things in Southern California! They are Youth Pastoring and part of a community center for youth. They had a baby in June named Olivia and we got to officially meet her in December!
• God is continuing to provide financially. We often quote, "Where God leads He provides." We have found this to be true in all of our years of ministry. He continues to amaze us! Thank you to all who have helped and are continuing to invest in what God is doing. It never ceases to take our breath away. Since moving back from Mexico we have built a cabin for Cole and Sarah, built a storage barn/shop, built a cabin for Mark and Christine, built a home for Rebecca and MarkAaron, and not to mention all of the maintenance that goes into having a community. ​ ​
• We have two new/used trucks on the mountain! This was a prayer request we had and God provided! 
• We were able to get a full-sized propane oven for the girls house! 
  

Prayer Requests

• Mark has become the Pastor of Calvary Chapel Methow Valley We are travelling two hours one-way to be a part of this fellowship. We leave on Saturday and come back home on Monday or Tuesday. He has been doing one-on-one counseling with the previous Pastor and his wife. We have also been counseling others in the congregation. Please pray for us as we endeavor to encourage and unpack some deep things. Spiritual warfare is a real thing and we need prayers that we will stay faithful and not be impacted by the devil's schemes. 
• We are asking for prayers of safety while we are working at the cabin. We use many different kinds of tools, so safety is a big concern.
• Health - that we would all stay healthy during this time of flu season. We are asking for continued prayers for Christine and that the cancer would not return.  Mark has been on a weight loss journey and has currently lost 45 pounds. Please pray that he would continue to do well and not be tempted to give up. He is feeling much better and all of the swelling in his leg is gone.​
• Ben and his wife are expecting another baby any day now! They are wanting to have a home birth and we are praying everything works to the glory of God. We are praying for a healthy delivery as this precious new baby enters the world!

Needs for Cherith Brook

Cole and Sarah need a few things to finish out their add-on. They are looking for carpet, paint, a propane refrigerator, and wood trim.

Praying for a 15 passenger van! This would be great as sometimes we have to pick up people from the airport and it would be nice for all of us to fit comfortably while traveling.
