New Things...
A new spring season is here and we are so excited! God is doing amazing things in the Methow Valley!
Mark has had many opportunities to disciple, counsel, and teach to many people. One of the neat things is that sometimes churches can get "territorial". We have not experienced that here, in this valley. The doors have been opened wide, and everyone has been welcoming to us.
Mark has been leading a men's Bible study and Christine just started a women's Bible study/Prayer group on Mondays. Both groups are growing and it's so neat to see God's presence in the midst. Christine has also been asked to facilitate the ladies BSF (Bible Study Fellowship) group starting in the fall.
We are in the travel trailer that was donated to us and every other week we head back to our little mountain to get some rest at Cherith Brook. It truly has been a blessing to be able to go to the property and find the rest that we need.
Counseling married couples has picked up the last few months, which is great to see couples ready and willing to save their marriages. Please pray for us as this can sometimes get a little messy as we dive into the nitty gritty of relationships. We keep pointing them to Christ and sharing our own story about absolute surrender.
Mark's health has been much better since he has started the carnivore diet. It's similar to the keto diet, which is low carb. He has had much more energy and hasn't had problems with his heart. He has lost some weight too! Please continue to pray for him in this journey. It can be so hard to change habits.
Mark has also been doing a podcast that can be accessed through Spotify and called Manna Burger Podcast. He has sermons up on YouTube as well. This is all new to us and technology changes all the time, so please be patient as we get things set up.

Our Garden Was a Success!
The garden we dreamed of having finally came a reality! We weren't sure how our raised garden would work out, being a first-year garden, but it was a success! Things we've never been able to grow at our elevation, actually grew! We had plenty of potatoes, tomatoes, pumpkins, squash, sunflowers, peppers, zucchini, herbs, strawberries, and even flowers! It was beautiful to see from the road as you drive up or walk by. We couldn't have done it without the help of everyone on the mountain!
